Developing Fetus

The embryo now known as the fetus has developed all of it's major organs. What's left now is for the fetus to grow and develop all that's been created.

Developing Eyes

The eyes are formed. The fetus can see a hint of light when the fetoscope is used by the doctor.

Developing Ears

The first picture shows the ear at eight weeks. At four months we see the ear being formed and at five months we see the ear fully formed.
     

Developing Hands

This is the arm bud. It begins to grow around the third or fourth week.

     

Two weeks later we see the finger buds developing.

By the eleventh week we can see tiny fingers on each hand.

     



In week seventeen the finger nails may be seen.
     


Developing Feet

This is a picture of the tail and leg buds.

Here we see the developed feet and toes.


     



Now that the feet and toes are partially developed, it is the leg's turn to grow. Through the skin we can see the developing bones.
